Since opening night on April 23, 1889, the Wheeler Opera House has been Aspen’s cultural showcase & premiere site for concerts, movies, festivals, lectures, community events and opera performances.

For a wonderful night out on the town in Aspen they way Aspenites do it – enjoy an early dinner in one of Aspen’s fine restaurants and then head over to Wheeler to enjoy entertainment in one of the most beautiful venues in America.

The Aspen Santa Fe Ballet brings touring dance companies from around the world to Aspen in both the summer and winter seasons.

The company regularly performs at the Kennedy Center, American Dance Festival, Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts, and New York’s Joyce Theater, as well in cities across the United States. Internationally, the company has performed in Biarritz, Curitiba (Brazil), Tel Aviv, Moscow, Milan and Ottawa.

Belly Up

Belly Up Aspen is an intimate venue in downtown Aspen that hosts over 300 live concerts a year with musical talent ranging from Jane’s Addiction to Wyclef Jean to Seal.

With a capacity of 450, a full bar, and a kitchen in case you get the munchies during the show, Belly Up is a very popular evening destination.
